Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp is a wonderfully remote water-based camp. Just getting to the lodge is an adventure in itself, as it includes an exhilarating boat transfer along reed-lined channels and lagoons. Surrounded by glistening waterways, this charming camp is perfect for soaking up the incredible beauty and serenity of the Okavango Delta.
Inspired by its natural surroundings , this classic lodge has a light and airy feel. Each of the nine beautiful en suite safari tents have gorgeous views over the waterways. The air-conditioned en-suite safari tents are organic in design. A combination of canvas and bleached timber and boast a romantic sala and a private plunge pool. Four poster beds offer extensive views onto the birdlife paradise. An en suite bathroom boasts a luxurious bath, and a refreshing shower either indoors or al fresco under African sky.
The camp boasts a variety of comfortable communal areas ideal for relaxation. The raised wooden living room, with charming local art pieces, provides a privileged perspective of the Delta that stretches out for miles below.
Guests can explore the wildlife surrounding Xaranna on early morning and late afternoon game drives in an open air vehicles. A walk in the surroundings of the camp with an armed guide, explores the sights, smells and sounds of the Okavango Delta. Learn about the various animals and plants while trying to spot the elusive Pel’s fishing owl and shy bushbuck.
