Tangala Safari Camp
The camp is located in the Thornybush Game Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park and home to the Big 5 ( lion, elephant , buffalo, leopard and rhino). Tangala Safari Camp is a small intimate camp offering basic accommodation in a relaxed safari setting.
The accommodation at camp consists of 4 chalets and six luxury safari tents. The en-suite accommodation features twin a double beds , outside patio , mosquito netting and fans. Public areas include an open plan lounge and dining room, open air deck, swimming pool and viewing lounge – all overlooking the waterhole which is located in front of the camp.
The reserve shares a unfenced border with the Kruger National Park and Timbavati Game Reserve. Game viewing and birdlife are abundant with regular big game sightings. The main focus of Tangala Safari Camp is, of course, the wildlife. The camp offers daily game drives, and guests are likely to see a wide variety of animals. The camp also has a dedicated team of trackers who can help guests find the most elusive animals.
