Simbavati Hilltop Lodge is a luxurious safari lodge located in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park in South Africa. We offer a special honeymoon package, which may include complimentary romantic touches such as a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival, a private candlelit dinner, or a romantic turndown service.
Accommodation
The lodge has 8 spacious tented suites, all of which are decorated in a contemporary African style. each with its own private deck and outside day bed. The tents are spacious and feature king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms, and indoor and outdoor showers. Each unit consists of a wooden deck supporting two canvas tents, one for the bedroom and one for the bathroom. The lodge also has a number of shared amenities, including a swimming pool, a spa, and a dining room. The dining room offers stunning views of the bushveld, and it serves a variety of African cuisine.
Activities
The main focus of Simbavati Hilltop Lodge is, of course, the wildlife. The lodge offers daily game drives, and guests are likely to see a wide variety of animals. Drives in the early morning and evening ensure game viewing when the animals are most active. The lodge is located in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve, which is one of the most biodiverse areas in Africa.
