Camp George Klaserie Game Reserve Accommodation
Camp George offers an oasis of tranquility within the wilds of the Klaserie Game Reserve. The reserve is part of the Greater Kruger National Park and has unfenced borders with both the Kruger and Timbavati. This is a prime game viewing area with a variety of wildlife.
Camp accommodation consists of eight luxury suites, with air-conditioning, sitting area and a outside viewing deck with a romantic bush shower. Designed for friends and family, two inter-leading units are available for families.
Camp George’s spacious main lodge area is fitted with a sitting room and bar that overlook the sandy river bed . Cool down before your afternoon game drive with a dip in the pool or get active in the fitness centre before relaxing with a massage. Dinner is either served around the campfire in the open-air boma or in the dining room.
The Klaserie is known for a magnificent range of animals including not only the Big 5 but also wild dog. Twice-daily game drives, bush walks and night drives in the reserve give visitors to Camp George the opportunity to immerse themselves in the stunning surroundings. Game drives are conducted in open vehicles under the guidance of expert rangers. For the more adventurous, the lodge offers guided walking safaris on request.
