Phinda Private Game Reserve is a rich and diverse park that encompasses 28 555 hectares of protected wildlife land in KwaZulu-Natal. The reserve is positioned between the Mkuze Game Reserve and the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park (a World Heritage Site). The landscape is lush with grassy woodlands, and broad, sweeping mountain ranges. It is the home of the famous Big Five. Set into a cliff face that overlooks Leopard Rock, &Beyond Phinda Rock Lodge is an architectural dream, combining Malian influences with pueblo panache. Phinda Rock Lodge prides itself on providing an intimate setting and treating guests like family. Accommodation at Phinda Rock Lodge comprises of six secluded Suites. Each unit incorporating an en-suite bathroom with outdoor showers, private plunge pool, minibar, private viewing deck.
Phinda Rock Lodge offers an exciting range of safari activities. Early morning and evening game drives in open Land Rovers, sometimes out into the middle of the bush for a safari breakfast, or out to the Mzinene River for a morning boat cruise.
