Sango Okavango Delta safari is without a doubt one of the Delta’s best value for money properties. The camp is community run and offers a authentic safari experience.
The camp accommodates 12 guests in 6 en-suite and raised tents. With its open-air bucket showers, hand crafted furnishings and classic styling Sango Safari Camp aims to rekindle the atmosphere of the luxury mobile safari camp from its pretty permanent setting.
It contains a pleasant lounge, which features plenty of comfortable seating around coffee tables. Guests can eat and drink al fresco too, in the boma or around the fire-pit. A short distance from the mess tent, there’s a fantastic viewing deck. Elevated above the ground to maximise vistas across the Khwai reserve. Not only that, it boasts the camp’s plunge pool, providing the perfect place to cool off in between activities, all the while looking out for the local wildlife!
The Khwai Private Reserve covers approximately 200,000 hectares of savanna, woodland, and waterways, and the area supports a real wealth of wildlife. Sango offers a brilliant range of safari and cultural activities. All activities are subject to seasonal availability and weather conditions.
