Little Machaba is a vintage chic camp, mimicking a classic 1950s style. A small and intimate Okavango Delta Lodge that packs a huge punch. Find yourself secluded in the game rich Khwai area, an Okavango Delta reserve close to the Moremi Game Reserve.
The smaller sister camp to Machaba Main Camp located a discreet distance away, Little Machaba has been designed for a more intimate experience. The camp has only four tented suites modelled in a grand yesteryear-style. Set on raised platforms, they enjoy broad views over a floodplain that is usually busy with wildlife.
The main lodge at Little Machaba sits on a raised platform and has sweeping views over an Okavango Delta floodplain. While outside you will find a large viewing deck and a plunge pool complete with sun loungers. The camp runs on solar power for its lighting and battery recharging facilities (there is a generator for backup) and even has Wi-Fi internet access in the main lodge.
Afternoon and evening game drives take you to the flood plains and rivers around the camp where large predators and herds of Elephant are often present. Go gliding in a mokoro, led through the tranquil shallow waters of the Okavango Delta by an experienced guide. In the calm mornings, head out for a guided walk to find the smaller creatures of the bush.
