Botswana luxury tented Safari experience at Duma Tau.
Duma Tau – meaning “roar of the lion” – is an intimate, luxury tented camp set in the private Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, bordering the western boundary of Botswana’s Chobe National Park. Recently refurbished, DumaTau Camp is a great camp in a truly pristine reserve and has become a popular choice for a Botswana luxury tented safari experience. The camp is located close to the source of the Savuti Channel. DumaTau has an extensive lagoon frontage, offering uninterrupted views over Osprey Lagoon and the herds of elephant the Linyanti.
Ten en-suite luxury tents accommodate a maximum of 20 guests. The tents are raised on wooden platforms offering fantastic views from the private outside deck. Beautifully appointed en -suite bathrooms with both indoor and outdoor showers compliment each tent.
DumaTau’s communal area consists of a dining room, lounge and bar, all leading onto an expansive viewing deck. The camp’s sparkling swimming pool is where you can find welcome relief from the afternoon heat.
The exceptional wildlife of the Linyanti concession is on DumaTau’s doorstep and the variety of habitats is home to some of the best game viewing with particularly great opportunities of seeing the larger predators. The lodge offers a variety of land and water activities. For the more adventurous guest, the lodge offers a guided bush walk and sleepout.
