Chobe Savannah Lodge is a peaceful luxury lodge set on beautiful floodplains on the banks of the Chobe River in the Chobe National Park. The camp is remotely located away from very busy Kasane waterfront. The open savannah views make a fantastic change from the thicker bushveld found in most of Botswana and the lodge offers several elevated points to soak up these wonderful vistas. Chobe Savannah Lodge is really all about a slower pace of safari. A quieter safari, away from vehicle game drives ,sit back and relax in the beautiful African wilderness.
Chobe Savannah Lodge takes 26 guests across 10 standard rooms and 1 family room. Each spacious room has air conditioning , its own complimentary mini-bar as well as a private deck. En-suite facilities comprise flush toilet, twin washbasins, and shower.
The lodge’s communal facilities include comfortable lounge, containing a variety of seating and tables before a cosy fireplace. Delicious meals are enjoyed in the indoor dining area, and guests can also dine under the stars on the riverbank. For cooling off between activities, there’s a sparkling swimming pool.
The focus at Chobe Savannah Lodge is on the water- there are no game drives, instead you will enjoy morning and afternoon boating excursions and enjoy watching the animals from this quiet and unique vantage point. Keen anglers can go on seasonal catch-and-release trips and you can also go a local village visit. The sweeping floodplains are home to large herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as many other animals which frequent the quiet banks to drink.
