Karongwe Game Reserve Big 5 Safari
Chisomo Safari Camp is located in the Karongwe Game Reserve , part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The reserve comprises 9000 hectares of pristine African bushveld. The reserve offers spectacular scenery, luxurious camps and lodges, as well as fantastic game viewing opportunities in open 4×4 safari vehicles accompanied by expert guides and trackers.
Chisomo boasts twenty-two canvas and thatch safari suites , each has en-suite bathroom with shower , sitting area and outside viewing deck. The safari suites are set on wooden platforms overlooking the Makhutsi River.
The camp facilities include a lounge, dining area, bar, library, spa, complimentary internet access and a swimming pool.
Chisomo is home to the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant) as well as an abundance of other species. The magnificent setting makes for perfect photographic opportunities. Guests enjoy early morning and late afternoon safaris in open 4×4 safari vehicles conducted by experienced guides and trackers.
Children of all ages are welcome at Chisomo Safari Camp.
