This eco-friendly Bateleur Safari Camp nestles in the private Timbavati Game Resevre which forms part of the greater Kruger Park. Bateleur Safari Camp offers an exceptional safari experience in 3500 hectares of pristine wilderness. With no fences between the Timbavati and the world-renowned Kruger National Park , allowing free movement of wildlife between the reserves. Bateleur Camp is ideal for solo explorers, couples and families looking for an authentic big five safari experience.
The camp boasts 7 thatched and canvas Safari Units that sleep between two to four people. Each unit features comfortable beds, a spacious en-suite bathroom with a shower, mosquito netting, solar powered bedside lamps, and a solar powered fan. Some units have an interior bathtub and a private outdoor shower.
The camp facilities include a lounge, dining area, bar, central fireplace, swimming pool, and a deck that overlooks the nearby waterhole.
Guided activities take place every morning at sunrise and every afternoon-evening from mid-afternoon, all under the watchful guidance of qualified and armed rangers. The Timbavati Game Reserve is a premier reserve and guests are sure to return home full of fantastic memories. Weather permitting, guests are treated to a hands-on, interactive demonstration on bushcraft . This includes lighting fires, making ropes and water containers as well as setting snares.
