Amakhala Bush Lodge is luxury safari lodge located in the malaria free Amakhala Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape Province. Bush Lodge prime positioning overlooking a waterhole promises superb wildlife-viewing opportunities paired with excellent service.

Bush Lodge boasts eight tented and thatched Suites , positioned to overlook an active waterhole. Each tent is well-appointed with a four-poster king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with large oval bath, outdoor shower, air conditioning, fireplace, and open deck with a private plunge pool.

The main building has a large, comfortable lounge, dining area, pub and a 96m2 deck with outdoor and indoor fire place.

Amakhala Game Reserve teems with wildlife which includes lion, herds of elephant, buffalo and giraffe; cheetah and rhino to name only a few. Amakhala Game Reserve is also home to substantial herds of plains game species including zebra, black wildebeest, red hartebeest, oryx and eland to name but a few. Activities offered at the lodge include morning and evening open-vehicle game drives, river cruises, guided bush walks. The lodge also offers river cruises.
